Jon Stewart was recently introduced as an official member of the Kiwanis Club of Snohomish. Stewart was welcomed by former Kiwanis Club President, Roberta Alley, President Barry McGee, and Kiwanis Lieutenant Governor, Melody Dana at Collector’s Choice Restaurant in Snohomish. Stewart was born and raised in Tacoma by his grandparents. “One was a diligent lab technician and the other was a Drill Sergeant in the Army, so discipline and attention to detail permeate my being!,” said Stewart.
After graduating from Tacoma’s Foss High School in 1995, Stewart enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. After a tour with a Marine Corps Detachment at Joint Base Lewis-McChord as a Bulk Fuel Specialist, he worked in corporate sales and retail management. In the early 2000s, Stewart moved to his current career in banking, where he is Vice President and Branch Manager of Coastal Community Bank in Snohomish. Stewart has been married to his wife, Michelle since 2005 and has two children, Ethan, 14, and Cecilia, 8. They also have a 1-year old dog, Gus. He loves that Kiwanis is all about the kids and the community he lives and works in. Stewart and his family reside in Everett. Jon enjoys working out, playing basketball, having fun with video gaming, and being with his kids enjoying their activities.
