About Our Club

Contact Us
The Snohomish Kiwanis club serves the needs of the Snohomish, WA area and supports other children related causes in the pacific northwest and internationally.  The Snohomish Kiwanis club not only gives financial support but more rewarding is the number of service hours our members contribute for the greater good of our community.

Serves

Ongoing service projects for the Snohomish Kiwanis club are serving meals at the Snohomish Community Kitchen, volunteering at   Camp Casey, care taking at the   Claytown Kids Park  and food drives for   Snohomish Food Bank.

SUPPORTS

The Club supports our youth clubs known as Key Clubs at Snohomish High School and Glacier Peak High School and Builders Club at Centennial Middle School. The Snohomish Kiwanis club has designated the   Boys and Girls Club of Snohomish  as our primary beneficiary. The club also serves and gives to   Snohomish Food Bank, Snohomish Students of the Quarter, Snohomish Community Kitchen,   Camp Casey,   Snohomish Senior Center, Kiwanis Children's Cancer Program, the WATCH D.O.G.S, elementary school dictionary project and many others.

The Snohomish Kiwanis funds nearly $10,000 annually for scholarships to students of Snohomish High School, Glacier Peak High School and AIM High School.

Meets

The Snohomish Kiwanis club meets weekly on Thursday from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m, at the Collectors Choice Restaurant at 215 Cypress Avenue, Snohomish, WA 98290.   The club has nearly 50 members and growing.

About Kiwanis

Visit Kiwanis.org
Kiwanis International is a global organization of members dedicated to serving the children of the world. Kiwanis and its family of clubs—nearly 600,000 members strong—annually raise more than $100 million and dedicate more than 18 million volunteer hours to strengthen communities and serve children. Members of every age attend regular meetings, experience fellowship, raise funds for various causes and participate in service projects that help their communities. Members also make an impact throughout the world by participating in Kiwanis International’s Global Campaign for Children,   The Eliminate Project: Kiwanis eliminating maternal and neonatal tetanus.

The Kiwanis Objects are:
  • To give primacy to the human and spiritual rather than to the material values of life.
  • To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships.
  • To promote the adoption and the application of higher social, business and professional standards.
  • To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive and serviceable citizenship.
  • To provide, through Kiwanis clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service and to build better communities.

To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which make possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism and goodwill.
