Dr. Kent Kultgen, Superintendent of the Snohomish School District, was introduced as an official member of the Kiwanis Club of Snohomish. Dr. Kultgen was welcomed by Kiwanis Club President, Melody Dana and Board members, Rod Vroman and Jared Burns recently at Collector’s Choice Restaurant in Snohomish. Dr. Kultgen and his wife, Lyla, moved to Snohomish in 2016 when he became the Superintendent of the Snohomish School District. Kultgen, formerly Superintendent of the Helena School District in Helena, Montana, is now in his 28th year of education. He also has a degree in Diesel Mechanics and has worked in the agriculture industry before pursuing his education degree. The Kultgen’s have three grown children that live in the Seattle area. They also have two granddaughters, which were the initial draw to move from Montana to Washington. In their spare time, Dr. Kultgen and his wife enjoy hiking, kayaking, cycling, and travel. The Kiwanis Club of Snohomish meets every Thursday at Noon at Collector's Choice Restaurant, 215 Cypress Avenue, Snohomish, WA 98290.
